I'm going with one of BM's today to look for dresses. I need to get it done asap! Any suggestions?
If you're near an Ann Taylor flagship store (there's one in costa mesa) they have really nice dresses and great discounts. i got our BM dresses for 80% off.
Thats like a little over an hour from me which is totally do-able. Hmmmm, wonder if there is one closer?
Nope....looks like that is the closest one :(
I'll go check it out anyways. It's probably worth the drive!
what you could also do before you go there is look online to see if they have dresses you would even consider. if they are online then you call the store to see if they have it. make sure the store has the "Celebrations" line so you wont waste your trip!
We got our's online at Nordie's...super easy and shipped fast. You can return to the store if it doesn't fit.
WM and Beatie,
Love your dresses! Thanks for the advice ladies!
we got ours at the bridal salon where i bought my dress - all the bms got 15%... but it's in NorCal so nevermind =)
i agree - i think Nordie's has a great selection of dresses online =) AND ann taylor celebrtions has great styles also =)
I got mine at a morilee store.
I've heard good things about Houseofbrides.com but it could be wrong. I personally didn't order from them, had no time.
I'm going to order mine at the bridal shop where I bought my dress. Most brides that I personally know orderd theirs from pearl's place or netbride.com. I get too paranoid and worried that the dresses will not fit the girls, so I decided to order it through the store instead. Like May, my BM/MOH gowns are also Mori Lee.
Hmmm...do you know where the nearest Mori Lee store is? Their website is under construction :(
I'm going to order mine at A Timeless Occasion. They're in San Gabriel. http://www.atimelessoccasion.com/
Karoza Designs in Glendale is another retailer. www.karozadesign.com/
Where in LA are you located? Mori Lee gowns are pretty affordable and they look great too! <= Whoa! I don't know how the color turned green!
lol....ya i dunno how you did the green bit. cool! haha
I'm in the San Fernando Valley. Karoza would be really easy to get to :)
Don't do House of Brides - use Netbride.com, they were a little cheaper and HOB has crappy customer service.
we got ours at Pebbles Bridal (check out my review) in Woodland Hills, it is on Ventura and DeSoto. My BMs got 15% off theirs too. I also used the seamstress they recommended and she was completely awesome. They carry alot of designers. We ended up going with Alfred Angelo for the BMs, MOB was Bill Levkoff and MOG was Jasmine (I think).
Cali, if you have time to drive a little further east, stop by A Timeless Occasion in San Gabriel and ask for Pat or Helen. Their dresses are cheaper than Karoza. I think they have Mori Lee's new fall line too.
I picked Mori Lee dresses also, & tried them on at Karoza's. I'm not sure where we're going to order them from. I've heard & seen bad reviews for Karoza, but the day we went we lucked out & got a really nice girl & I cant remember her name for the life of me. She was great. If I remember I'll let you know.
I suggest you go to Love Boat Bridal. 9544 Las Tunas Dr. Temple City CA 91780. The BM dress they have there are nice, and good price.
I'm using Bill Levkoff dresses for my BM's....I was going to use a local bridal store but found a much better deal about 40 minutes away (in PA) so that's where we're headed to purchase them! :-)
