Where to seat officiant

We are getting married in a few weeks and are having a Jewish/Catholic ceremony.  Neither my FH or I are very religious and we don't attend temple/church regularly, so we had to find 2 local officiants for our wedding.

We sent t both the Rabbi and Deacon invitations for the wedding...the Rabbi replied that he will stay for cocktail hour only and the Deacon is staying for the entire night.

Since we really don't know the Deacon very well and he has never met any of our families, we don't know where to seat him.  My FH and I will be at a sweetheart table so sitting with us is not an option.

Does anyone have any advice?  Thanks!

unless an officant is a close friend or something it isnt necessary to have them sit with the wedding party.  can you think of people attending the wedding who would maybe share any intersts with him.  maybe someone who comes is catholic and at least would make converstion with him.  if you cant think of anyone who is catholic...do you know someone who gets along well with just about anybody.  that is who i would sit him with.  you always have the option of having him sit with aunts/uncles etc.
