Where to store DIY projects

Hey everyone, so my wedding is November 1st 2009, yup 09. Partly because my FI and I are both making alot of things. I'm even making our flowers from coffee filters. I've made 1,000 origmai cranes. I'm making table mats etc etc.

I have no room to store any of it. Its all been in our dining room, but I can't live like this for another year.

Any suggestions on where to put your DIY items?

We live in an apt in LA (no money to buy storage) small garage for only one of  our cars.

I'm in the same boat as you!  We rent a 2-bd apt, no garage, and the spare bedroom is the 'kingdom' for our 2 pet bunnies (the closet in there is already full of other storage).  I have all my DIY stuff and other wedding paraphanalia piled up in a corner of the living room (dubbed 'the wedding corner').

We're talking about getting a small storage unit...

We want to buy a house, but first FI needs to sell his other house that is 200 miles away - and the market SUCKS!

Is it possible to temporarily sacrifice your garage?

Mine is all taking up closet space, which sucks because I do not have enough room for all of my clothes :(

We used our spare room for awhile, but then his parents had more space and offered to store the items that were completed.  Do you have any friends or family who might do that for you?

if you're up for it, how about installing shelves and putting everything in clear tuppware boxes and labeling them? or go to ikea for small space storing inspiration :)

found these at target...a set of six...everything would be packed up and ready to transport to the wedding while being stored under your bed in the meantime...

I put all of the DIY projects in the spare bedroom. I also have 200 glass cups and 200 tea cups with saucers, my room is filling fast and I still have 12 months to go. I will start storing things at my parents house once I need more room.
