Which hair extension color?

I have shoulder length hair and counting the months, I'm guessing that I may be needing  a hair extension on my wedding day next year. I have super dark brown hair (almost jet-black) and thinking of getting a hair extension color that's a bit different from my natural shade for a dramatic effect. I haven't booked with any hairstylist as of yet but it's sooo fun planning for my look next year (though planning is def stressful!) LOL. So I may be purchasing one online (at Strands coz they're 15% off now, Yay!) and see if I could also use it on my wedding. Either way I could still definitely use it anytime. :)

The 1st one is brown and the 2nd one looks reddish. Any ideas ladies?
TIA!

i like the colors of both.  are you wanting just a pop of color, doing an ombre look, or dyeing all your hair to match one or the other?  if you are just adding a pop of color, then i guess you could do this right before the wedding.  if you are doing ombre or dyeing your hair, then i would recommend doing that a few months before the wedding so that a lot of your guests will have seen you with the new hair before the big day.  if you are getting hair extensions and then having them dyed to your hair color, then i would totally recommend the brown.  the red in other one may take the dye differently and not come out the way  you want as easily as you want.

You could do ombre extensions for a dramic effect and still look blended.

I think the first one may be better since your hair is dark brown,so it will not so towering.

Thanks so much ladies for replying! I would love to get ombre but don't really want to wear one my wedding day :) though I'm really swooning over Khloe Kardashian's. I'm guessing that I have to wear a not-so-striking color to complement my dress and my hair accessories, which I haven't really decided about. Cheers!
