Who could have known that excercise could be fun?
So here I am a slightly overweight asthmatic girl of 21 who is simply dying to find a good workout plan that doesn't cause my lungs to hate me. Here are a few different workouts that I have found that produce the best results with the least amount of respiratory resistance.
Yoga= calming and toning while presenting yet a core conditioning work out.
Pilates= my grandma introduced me to this ironically enough. Depending on what instructor you are following it may be challenging. My personal experience tells me though not to be a show off if the instructor is easier. Though it may not feel like it is working... it is. I have had enough good sore to prove it :)
Personal Favorite= Belly dancing!!! I never thought that an uncoordinated girl like me would be able to move my hips in a shakira like manner but this workout has been so much fun!!! If you are willing to make it a routine I promise you will see results within a matter of a few weeks. It tones your sides so well!! There was something about it that also added confidence to myself as well as a sense of sexiness too. The part I like most is that though I feel sexy after one of these workouts I don't feel like I am dirty or exploited myself. I know my FI is pretty stoked too. He isn't allowed to watch me work out yet but I have been told it helps out later down the road too ;)
