WHY????

Okay ladies so I bought a dress and even before it was put in the bag and I loaded it in my car I knew it wasn't the dress for me!

So WHY, WHY, WHY, would I buy it?

I at least feel better that as stupid as I feel for not listening to myself I have made the decision to sell it and get what I really want.

There were a lot of factors that went into making the purchase that I will spare you from but I just wanted to share my mistake in the event that other brides to be have done the same and to get any advice you all are willing to give.

The one good thing that came from the purchase is that part of the proceeds went  to breast cancer awareness.

I reluctantly attached pictures so you all can hopefully see why it's not the dress for me.

Honestly I like both dresses and I think that you look beautiful in both of them. However I don't think that you should settle for a dress that you don't love. I bought a dress already too but it was definitely not the one for me and now I have to start shopping for another dress. I felt kind of silly and foolish since I already paid for one dress and now I am going to go and spend more money to buy another one.

I think that you should get the dress that you love for your wedding. Is that second dress THE ONE? Or are you going to keep looking?

Well thank you mrsnicholas because I feel foolish as well.  Mostly since I wasn't really feeling it and I'm so careful when it comes to things like this.  Thank you for the flattery as well :)

I think the main reasons for me was that it was a brides agains breast cancer event so proceeds went to a good cause and also it was a thousand dollar dress for $550.00!! I kinda felt selfish for not buying it.  Like it would have made me a diva it I wanted better or more expensive.  I don't want to be that girl.

I really think the other dress is "the one" sicne I can't stop thinking about it but I would still like to keep looking.

I hope you find the dress of your dreams and when you do please post pics.  I would love to see it.

Thanks for the advice.

I understand why you bought it and if you aren't happy with it then definitely get what will make you feel fantastic on your wedding...that is the one day you are allowed to be a diva!! That said, the first dress fits you like a glove and you look great in it!!

But that 2nd dress is also a stunner, so you really can't go wrong!

I agree that you are totally allowed to be a "diva" when it comes to your wedding dress. If you feel awkward and uncomfortable it will show in your pictures too. At about 50% off and the money going to charity I would have bought that dress too so don't feel bad.

Honestly I agree with Sammy_D too about dress #1. They are both beautiful dresses but I do think that you look great in dress #1. It looks gorgeous on you. :)

I dont know if it's the pictures but I just feel like I look fat in the first one.  I just feel kinda pudgy and frumpy in it.

In your honest opinions ( I promise my feelings won't be hurt) you don't think I look big in the first one?

I just feel like I look weird in it. :/

Thanks for the input though.  I really need it and appreciate it.

No, no, no! You do not look fat at all in the first dress!! You don't look fat in either dress.

I think that you look beautiful in both dresses and I'm sure that everyone else would agree with me on that but if YOU don't feel beautiful in the dress then I think that you should keep looking. On your wedding day you should feel beautiful and confident.

Both dresses look amazing, but if I'm completely honest the second made me gasp. I just love it! Now that said, I think if you can sell the first and get a good deal on the second, you should totally go for it!

I think the second dress flatters you better. You look great in the first one but I cant help but notice the look on your face. Its clear by your body language you are much happier in the second dress

Dress #2 says you all the way!

I dont like dres #1 for you. It's a nice dress, but doesn't give you that sexy, glove fit like the 2nd one.

Hey Nichole! Don't feel silly, that's a totally normal thing to go through! And I think they're both beautifu, but that second one is just stunning on you and you look happier! But keep in mind that with alterations each of those dresses will fit you like a glove and flatter you so go with your gut instinct on which is right for u!

Thanks ladies.

@ Elise thanks because I'm still feeling pretty stupid about the whole thing.

I am going to try the dress on again this week with heels, make-up and try to fix my hair a little and see if that helps.  I'm also going to take more pictures of it so I can see it in different lighting and from more angles.

However, I'm also going to try on dress # 2 one more time as well.

Ugggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!

Both dresses are beautiful!  I regretted my dress after buying mine too. I stuck with it though and truly do love it but I couldn't get another gown (gowns) out of my head.  Everyone always says to stop looking after the dress is purchased.  Hard to do that when you are on PW. ;)  I personally love the second dress on you... You BEAM in it. I would just make sure you try on more to ensure that this is it.  I think sometimes we get wrapped up in the appointment as well and buy something that we didn't truly want.
