Why did you choose Maggie Sottero for your bridal gown?
I chose a Maggie because she was SO comfortable. I tried on numerous Maggies and numerous other gown and I always came back to a Maggie because of the comfortableness (if that a word) and the fact that it held me in, stood me up, and made me look my best.
It just so happened that the dress I fell in love with was a Maggie Sottero. I wasn't necessarily determined to get that designer.
I have to agree with both of you ladies! I didn't even look at maggie's til I saw mine on a Mannequin in a bridal store. Then when I tried it on, it was by far the most comfortable dress I'd been in! It also has a built in corset that sucks it in for me as well as it shows my good curves not my bad ones ;-)
I chose my Maggie because it is gorgeous and because it was very reasonably priced. Even the consultant working with me at the bridal shop was shocked at how reasonably priced it was :)
Plus ditto on the corset back. It sucks EVERYTHING in and I love that!
I think Maggie chose me. The dress just happened to be the one I fell in love with. I didn't go in wanting a specific gown. As long as it fit in my budget and it make me look beautiful, then I was going to walk out with a random 'label' but it just so happened that my Maggie chose me. ;)
I went searching online the one day for wedding dresses and I came across Pricilla of Boston's website. I fell in love with a gown, but found out it was like $5,000 - YEAH RIGHT haha. So I kept looking. I fell upon maggiesottero.com, and started browsing. There she was. BEAUTIFUL!!! There were a few other gowns that I was considering, but this one was just gorgeous. I ordered her in, tried her on, and cried. I knew she was the one! She was the only wedding dress I tried on and I'm glad I found her so quick. =)
Price was a big factor...and there were TONS of her dresses that i loved online..and i happened to find mine as a sample that had NEVER been put on..stuck between a bunch of poofy GIANT dresses ....i had tried on quite a few and i loved everything i put on...but my Maggie made my mom cry..i knew she was the one then :)
I loved Maggie's designs since I first started looking at dresses after I got engaged! I kept saying that I knew I was going to end up with a Maggie dress. I heard from so many people on here how comfortable and beautiful they are! Just so happened the dress I fell in love with was a Maggie... didn't even know it when I tried it on. It is soooooo comfortable!! The fabric is so rich and beautiful!
I loved the fit and the material and...well...everything about the dress (Fiorella) made by her when I tried it on and I got the infamous "oohs" and "awws" from my mom, aunt and FMIL. I wasn't searching only for Maggie's but I knew she had beautiful dresses.
I never wanted to try on anything but Maggies. Her reputation for fit and quality, plus I fell in love with so many from her website!
for me affordability, beauuuuuuuuuuutiful back, and fit so comfortable.
I had never heard of Maggie Sottero, until I started looking at MB's. I kept seeing girls talk about their "Maggie's". I looked up her website and from then on I was HOOKED! There were soooo many to choose from, and there were a lot in the $ and $$ range...I saw Rhianna Royale and I knew that was the one for me. I must say my dress seems like it is pretty comfortable, granted I've only worn her for maybe 45 minutes total. I like the corset back because it makes it so I don't have to suck in my tummy. That is awesome!
All the maggies were by far the most comfortable dresses I tried on. They weren't too heavy and they were just soooo beautiful. I found 3 dresses that I really loved and they were all the exact style I was going for.
I fell in love with my dress not knowing it was a Maggie- I really love the corset back, ruffled skirt, sweetheart neckline, drop-waist, and the gown was pretty light! It had everything I wanted!!!
I haven't "officially" bought mine yet, but it was the ONLY one that made me cry. =)
The beautiful simplicity of the gown just stole my heart.
The Maggies all made me feel beautiful, and they were reasonably priced too! I love the corset feature and dutch silk is amazing! When I tried on my Mona Lisa Royale... I didn't want to take it off even if it was 5 sizes too big.
the fit, i heard great things about the fit. Also being so short alterations would have cost and arm and a leg to fit me correctly. Also so comfortable..
i just love her designs , an she looks super $$$ but is so affordable.
