Why is this forum so DEAD? Is Green not a popular color?!

I know there are more green color brides out there.  I need help getting inspirations!

You know, it's the damndest thing. I think green's a great color (it's my favorite!), but it DOES seem to be sort of unpopular. I had to go on an epic odyssey to get good-looking green bridesmaids dresses because so many manufacturers have horrible-looking shades of green.

We are having some trouble too. The green in the guys' tuxes is super-hard to match! I am kind of putting it off, but I know it will be an issue sonner or later. :)

Ditto!  I was almost thinking of putting my girls in blue, yellow, or orange and then have green everywhere else!  The dresses are impossible to find.  I think it might be because I was looking for apple green, but the I discovered the colour I really loved was chartreuse. (Still hard to find, though).

At right is displayed the web color chartreuse.

The term chartreuse was first used to refer to "a pale apple-green" in 1884.[3] This was codified when the X11 web colors were invented in the mid-1990s. The web color chartreuse is the color precisely halfway between green and yellow, so it is 50% green and 50% yellow. It is one of the tertiary colors of the HSV color wheel, also known as the RGB color wheel.

LOL, looks like I was looking for apple green, after all....(this quote is from wikipedia.org)

So what I've decided was to accent the green w/ black and white.  My bridesmaids will wear black cocktail dresses and I'll have them carry green bouquets.  Due to the lack of green fabric, I'm just planning on utilizing green flowers to make the color pop.

I just did my save the dates (check out my bio) and was able to incorporate the three colors.  I'm still in search for cute green shoes.  I have back up ones just in case but I see so many of other color shoes but not the green I want.

Here's my green monogram:

I have been obsessed with lime green and other shades of green for the past few years.  I was an obvious choice for a wedding colour.

I like a couple shades of green that Dessy has... http://www.dessy.com

I am hoping to get my bridesmaids in the Apple Slice colour.  Which, I wasn't completely hooked on based on the colour I saw online, but it's a really vibrant colour on an ectual Dessy fabric swatch in the bridal shop.I have been obsessed photo 1485371-1

I looked at Dessy dresses in Appleslice for a while, but I went with Alfred Sung (by Dessy) in Appletini, because I liked the POP of color better.  Appleslice is just a little more muted, but a very beautiful color! :)

I agree that green doesn't seem to be a popular wedding color....maybe as an accent color but not as a main color

My bridesmaid dresses are Moss green according to the designer but I think of it as a cross between olive green and apple green. I love it!!

My table runners will be celadon green (the only green she offered and any place else was way too expensive)

So they won't exactly match but I think it will look fine, and I'm not a matchy matchy bride anyway. If anything I think its good those two green's are different colors because the head table is going to have overlays....wouldn't want the BM's blending in!
