Wireless Remote for Camera?

Has anyone purchase a wireless remote for their camera?  I am just using this camera as a hobby to take photos but was thinking there might be times when I want to jump in the shot with my family, and have more control when the picture is taken then using the self timer.

Any experience you can share would be appreciated! :)

If you get into the Pocket Wizard system (expensive though) you can buy an adapter that plugs into your PW on your remote camera and trigger it while shooting with another camer (that also has a PW on it).  I bought one at the beginning of this wedding season and it's saved me and my team from having to do "balcony sprints" to get an aerial view of weddings or we are not allowed to man a camera (behind the altar).

You should be able to find one easily. Prices range from $20-100 depending on the camera and remote style.
