Working on Wedding Albums

When putting together your wedding albums what did you look for? What did you ensure was included?

I'm reviewing my proofs now and just want to see if there is anything I am not thinking of.

I looked for good paper quality and print quality. I also wanted a dust jacket.

I obviously havent made a wedding album yet, but I did learn from making my epic album...it might help. look at the spread, not individual pages like I did. I have these two pages that dont look that great together, very distrating...but its stuck that way

The first album I put together was very chronological, with all the photos in the exact order they were taken.  Then I decided that nobody else would know what the order was - it makes more sense to arrange the photos the way they look best together graphically.  Typically, to me, that means either a symmetrical spread or strong contrast.  Also, be sure to look carefully at the pictures of other people!  I was so focused on my husband and me that I completely missed on picture where my MIL looked like she had a bit of a wattle!  Of course, she honed in on it immediately, and I felt really bad! =)

i did a small album of our first "legal" marriage.. it was 20 pages, perfect for a small event as that one... (no mention of paper quality & so forth - I got it free from that Oprah give away before Tday)

like jess143, i'd look at the pages as you will see them when viewing the book

and

like MB, i did mine chronologically BUT several pics were automatically be ommited as I went through them because i was also grouping them by visual appeal...

oh yeah, MB hit the head on the nail with taking notice of people/elements in the background of your pic...
