worst bm dress shopping experience (long)
Dear Store Manager at Bridal Exclusives,
I will make sure I tell everyone I know about the horrible, terrible, no good, very bad experience I had at your store today.
I have now been to your store 4 times to get my bm dresses ordered. Your sign says "Walk Ins Welcome", so if you want people to make an appointment, take down that sign.
No one else was in the entire store today. I had to help myself, and even after you came out of the office you did not introduce yourself or ask if you could help....you just stood there and watched. My mom had to ask if my sister could try a dress on, and you didn't even offer to open the dressing room. Then I had to prompt you to measure her.
After telling you I needed to order multiple dresses, you decided not to listen and started to ring me up for one. When I spelled out the girls' names for you, you still typed them in wrong. As I tried to give you sizes, you told me I needed measurements for each girl. Isn't a size enough? You kept arguing, and I kept politely telling you not all the girls live around here but were able to go to another authorized retailer and try on samples and get measured there. After a while you finally decided that signing a contract would be OK instead. Then, you forgot to give us a discount for buying 6 dresses until I reminded you.
The entire time you acted put out, like I was causing a huge inconvenience to you by coming in and ordering 6 dresses and paying them in full on the spot. I don't know if you were just having a bad day, but that is no reason to treat me or my mom or my sister the way you did.
As I was getting into the car, I double checked my statements and realized you did not give me a copy of one of the dress orders. As I came back in to the store, I again had to wait for someone to help me. Another girl came out and as I explained I had ordered dresses 5 minutes ago and was missing a copy of one of the statements, she looked at me and snidely said I only got one copy of the receipt. She finally agreed to print off a copy of the dress statement you forgot.
On my way home, I looked over the information yet again to make sure you didn't screw up anything else. Turns out you only charged us for 5 dresses instead of 6. I would not call back to tell you your error, even though I am an honest and good person, except for the fact that I have a feeling you only put in an order for 5 dresses instead of 6. Except now I have 6 dress statements saying each one's balance is paid in full, and a receipt totaling the amount of 5.
My mom said she would like to call the store manager to complain, so I looked at the business card you didn't offer to me but I took any way. You cannot imagine how disgusted we were to find out you are the manager.
After we call tomorrow and fix all of your mistakes and you still screw up my order, don't be surprised if you never have any business again. The only reason I came to your store is because you're the only one within 3 hours.
Thanks for nothing.
