You are cordially invited.....

......but how many attended?

How many guests did you invite and how many guests came to celebrate your wedding day?  Did you have a contingency plan for those who did not RSVP?  Do you have any wedding crasher stories?  Have you ever crashed anyone else's shindig?

This scares me that we will spend $15,000 on a wedding and wont have many show. We are inviting 100 I bellieve. I would never have the nerve to crash someone's shindig

5 were a no show

213 celebreated with us!

I had a few guests add a plus 1 to their RSVP's. I called a few and my Mom called a few to explain that unfortunately we didn't have room for extra. I did have to hunt a few people down for an RSVP but we ended up getting them all in on time. We did have one wedding crasher: DH's friend brought their newborn to the church. During the recieveing line he asked, "so it's ok if we bring the baby right?" We were shocked and without thinking DH said yes. We talked in the limo afterward and DH called his friend to let him know that we were sorry but the baby wouldn't come, we had numerous family and friend who couldn't bring their children, it just wasn't fair. His friend came to the wedding and his plus one stayed home with the baby. Annoying!
