What was your first song as husband and wife? Or what will be your first song?
Frank Sinatra -- Wonderful Tonight
It makes me heart pitter patter when I hear this. I think of all the nervous excitment of walking out onto the dance floor in front of all our family and friends as MR. and MRS. for the first time!
Our first dance song was "LOVE" by Nat King Cole. We love it!
Our first dance was “Still the one” by Shania Twain
Its wasnt my favorite song ever (although it is now lol) but the words were exactly what we wanted.
Ours was "You're the Inspiration" by Chicago...I still tear up when I hear it!
George Strait - "I Cross My Heart"
Wonderful Tonight -Eric Clapton
She's More by Andy Griggs
"Hold on" by Michael Buble
I have a little something special planned for our first song.
I have burned several songs to a CD with a little poem I wrote attached....I will share all of this when I tweek things a bit. Anyway the basic principle is that I am going to select my top 5 and I'm asking him to as well.
If his selections match any of mine he gets a different kind of dance if you get my drift... ;-)
I will let you all know which one we end up going with as well as the poem and such so I can get your honest input!
There Goes my Baby by Charlie Wilson. We dance off that song if we hear it in the grocery store!
@James - Love that idea, very cute!
My FI has told me many times "you had me at hello." So our first dance song will be You Had Me From Hello.
The song God Blessed the Broken Road is the song we are using as our wedding Processional.
Thanks Sam :-)
We love this new song on Alicia Key's album called " That's when I knew". That is going to be our first dance song :-))))
