Your Wedding Highs and Lows

I recently saw "The Story Of Us" (again) and I love that Highs & Lows game they play at dinner...so I thought I would ask:

Newlyweds, what is the one thing you wish you could go back and change about your wedding day, and the one thing you wouldn't change for anything in the world?

Would Change: really only two things - one, the guitarist starting playing my walk down the isle song while my brother was escorting my mom in, it worked out fine, I still walked in to that song and no one knew it should have been any different, but it was one of those "little things". I forgot to tell the venue coordinator to cue him when they were coming in as opposed to when my father and I were coming in. Two, I would have assigned someone to the IPOD ahead of time, I let the venue person handle it and it took her a little bit of time to find the playlists for the first dances - and I should have told the venue person when to start them and to announce them - there was only 22 guests so it was not a big deal at all, but again, another little thing!

Wouldn't change: everything else! Seriously, it was my dream day and went pretty much exactly as I wanted!!

I'd do less DIY. In the long run, a lot of my DIY projects ended up being really time consuming. I wish I had spent that time exercising and playing sports. =)

I would change the photography, no... the videography... oh both!

I wouldn't change the ceremony for the world, except the part where my sister stopped the flower girls from picking up and re dropping the flowers, I would definiatly communicate that this was acceptable for me!

I loved my wedding! I wish I got better photos and video! I would say, Ceremony is important, music is important and photography and videography is important!

What I'd Change:::  Probably my caterer (horrible!!!) and the event 'supervisor' at our reception- she was so rude to my family and vendors- and I knew of this but just wanted to enjoy our special day.  I wish I would have taken her aside and b*tched her out though- totally regret it AND I never complained to the venue since I got so distracted after the wedding.  Seriously, you would have all wanted to kill her!

Also::: Loosing weight and spending less haha

I Wouldn't Change::: Marrying the man of my dreams awwww brownie points haha  As well as all my AMAZING vendors (except the caterer) They were wonderful and collaborated the day of better then I could have ever imagined!!! So happy with them all!!!

~ HMM :)

I would have totally regretted not doing the pics before the ceremony - I know there are very strong feelings from some about not seeing each other until your walk down the isle - but I don't regret it at all!!! We got some amazing photos of that moment that we wouldn't have and got soooo many more different pics than we would have had time to otherwise!

Worst thing:  The heat...it was the hottest day of the week!  I was happy for the clear skies (it had been warm but overcast leading up to the Big Day) but it was also MUCH hotter than our rehearsal.  Thank goodness for MAC make-up!

Best thing: Beside marrying the love of my life?  Doing it in paradise surrounded by family and friends, of course!
