God...pregnancy makes me an emotional mess...

I have been having a very rough week. First of all, my parents and my baby sister are moving away (to Mexico). I have known for over a year that this was happening but they were supposed to be leaving on Monday. Well, I was doing okay with the idea for a while, I think I was still in denial. Now that it is getting closer and their house is empty it started to hit me. Not only that, my uncle passed away yesterday morning after a long and difficult battle with pancreatic cancer. My parents had to postpone their move for a few days to be able to attend the memorial and funeral next week. I was of course devastated about my uncle, but at the same time so relieved to have my family around me for another week.

But these past few days have been so HARD. Not only am I always sick, or insanely hungry, or tired, or have no motivation, but all this is happening and I am just not dealing with it well. Plus we live with my brother and his wife who just found out they are expecting a baby a month and a half after us (talk about wanting to steal our thunder), and they cause my life so much stress and leave a mess everywhere. Not to mention the stress of trying to be financially ready for this baby and save money…sigh. Sorry for the vent guys, just needed to let it all out.

I'm so sorry! You really do have a lot going on right now. I'm sorry about the loss of your uncle. I know that has to be so hard with everything else going on right now.

I hope things get a bit easier over the next few weeks/months. I also live far away from my family, and it makes the visits so, so wonderful - even though the goodbyes are so hard. I think once you have a LO on the way, it makes you feel much stronger one way or the other about being close to your family.

Things WILL work themselves out. Whenever I'm feeling completely overwhelmed (which is more frequently these days...) I try to remind myself that people in all kinds of circumstances have been having babies forever and they make it work. Everything may not be exactly as we want it, but our LO will have tons of love and that always makes a home happier <3

Sending you big (((hugs))) and hoping you feel better soon! Definitely come here and vent whenever you need a break!

I am sorry girl :( You have had one too many emotionally heavy things going on all at once. I am sorry for the loss of your uncle & that your family is moving. Change is so hard to cope with as it is, but having it all happen at once is so much to handle. Keep your head up, like msdl, things always end up working themselves out somehow... You have so much to look forward to in the next few months! Just try to focus on YOU, your DH & your little love growing inside of you!
