I'm back, and we are Team
Hubby and I were hoping for a boy since we have two girls but I guess three is a charm! Also, I know girl so it is okay with me!
Last night our families came over a did a scavenger hunt. I split them into two team, unfortunately it couldn't be Team Pink vs. Team Blue because only two people were going for Team Pink. LOL! Anywho, The had to follow 5 clues which were hidden inside and out of our home. Their 5th clue lead them to myself and my hubby which were holding an envelope with a note that read:
This part is a race, calculate the numbers at the bottom of your clues. If it is the number of Baby Gatewood's due date "9" then SHOUT it out...It's a Girl!
Okay, so one team had purple stars with pink ribbon (girls), the other team had blue stars with green ribbon. The purple team won and the blue team thought they won but had cheated. Instead of answering the clues they roamed about the home just to look for the stars. Ha! Ha! When I told them they had to get All the clues, not just the one that said their final clue was in the living room, they were quit disappointed.
It was all in fun and nearly everyone was disappointed to hear it was a boy. Even my cute little neice whom is 4 cast her vote. Boy, Girl or Monkey...she said she will take Monkey! LOL! At the end she said "so there is no Monkey?" I love this little girl!
I am soo happy to have had them over to share this moment with them. This is DH and I's first child together so it was great for our families! Now we are discussing names, which I don't think that my hubby and I will ever agree on one.
