Morning Sickness

OMG.....I think I'm dying.....ok I know I'm not but at this point, I'd almost rather be dead.  I'm so miserable.  Anyone else like this?  Anyone have any tips/tricks that helped curb it?  I try to eat small things every few hours but after awhile I feel so full I don't want anything to eat.

I never got morning sickness, but my remedy against nausea (like when I got food poisoning or stomach bug) has always been sour lemon water. It also works for my DH when he is mot feeling well. For some reason the sourness of the lemon juice curbs the nausea. Try it. It can't hurt :)

I was one of the lucky few that never experienced m/s or nausea but my SIL (due 4 wks after me) had severe m/s.  She went on a medication called Zofran.  I've heard about several remedies.. sea bands, popsicles (they sell special ones at Motherhood and check at your drs office too), snacking so that you never have an empty stomach, and ginger (gingerale might be more appealing).  Hope you feel better hun!

I'm a Zofran gal. I was constantly sick (yay for throwing up at work and Lowes!) weeks 6-9 until I got a prescription. If I would have been wise, I would have asked for it sooner! I recently ran out and had to skip one day and ended up getting very sick at work again. :(

I have morning, noon and night sickness. I missed school yesterday due to morning sickness. I had my first ob appt today and luckily she gave me a rx for phenergan. I also told her that my husband had leftover phenergan from his knee surgery and I took some for my n/v.

I hear you @mahoganieyes...........I was out of work yesterday because I could barely function.  I saw the midwife for my first appointment too and she prescribed me something called Meclizine.  She said it's the mildest form and they like to start everyone out with a low dose or something.  I didn't care just give me something!

a friend of mine told me about preggo pops at babies r us that are supposed to help with nausea, i'm going to look into those this weekend.

I read something today that said if you eat fruits when you wake up that helps- I don't remember the reason now. lol. Maybe worth a try!

Try drinking Carnation Instant Breakfast first thing in the morning before you even get out of bed.  I had DH bring me mine.  The milk helps.

Saltine Crackers and Preggo Pop drops work!

I puked every morning until week 16!!!

See I almost wish I was puking because I honestly think it'd make me feel better, but I don't want to force myself to throw up so I'm pretty much stuck.  I'll have to get the Carnation Instant Breakfast and some of the preggo pops.......I'll just have to hide them from DH haha.

Well I'm not having morning sickness yet, but a girl I work with used to get ginger cubes from a healthfood store. She swore they really helped with the nausea. Just don't bite into them cus they are really strong and would probably make you more nauseous.

No morning sickness yet (though I have been nauseated at times).  One of my coworkers said potato chips actually help, and so do bananas--maybe because of the niacin?  I'd think it would be worth a shot.
