No symptoms?

First you worry about getting pregnant, then you get pregnant and worry about all of the "what ifs!"

I'm about 6 (possibly early 7) weeks along to my best estimate... I go to my first doctor's appointment this coming Wednesday. So far, things have been going along great... as in, I've had nearly zero symptoms. No nausea or MS, no sore breasts, no more fatigue than I normally have, etc. The only thing I've experienced is the bloated feeling, and one morning I didn't feel so great but then realized that I had taken my vitamins on an empty stomach. I have a friend who's 2 weeks ahead of me, and at 6 weeks she was throwing up, had sore breasts, you name it. Is it really possible not to experience the typical symptoms? Is it just too early? Have any of you had nearly zero symptoms?

I know that (hopefully) my worries will be put to rest on Wednesday, but til then I'm driving myself crazy. ;)

Ha ha! I can't help with personal experience, but my mom didn't have any symptoms except sore breasts with my sister. She was horribly sick with me and mildly sick with my brother.

As far as I can remember, I had sore boobs from DPO7 to Week 8. But for fatigue and MS, it only came (in force!) at week 8. I have a friend who's actually 30 weeks pregnant and she has the most amazing pregnancy so far. No symptom at all and her LO is perfectly healthy. So don't worry too much (I know, easy to say!) and enjoy :)!

I remember in my early days just hoping for a symptom so that I it would feel more real. I ended up getting MS part way through week 6 and it hung on until the end -  I got my wish! I never really had sore boobs... Every pregnancy is different and I know a lot of people who have symptoms there are days that they are more noticeable and days where they aren't and that worries you too. Honestly, from here on out you'll always be worried - you're a mom!

I only had sore boobs and the bloated feeling. Other than that I didn't have much in the way of the typical symptoms. It truly is different for everyone!

Sounds like me. I had almost zero symtoms in the beginning, but I was oddly hoping for them to validate my pregnancy to myself! Just bloat & sore tata's. Then the tiredness & nausea kicked in around week 8, but the nausea wasnt ever too bad...

thanks for making me feel more "normal" ladies! yes...that's exactly how i feel...i want to somehow validate my pregnancy with symptoms. don't get me wrong, i don't actually WISH for any of the uncomfortable/downright miserable symptoms that i know can occur, but it's just an odd feeling being pregnant but not really feeling like it! i'm probably totally jinxing myself and setting myself up for some fun stuff in the weeks to come.. ;)

Some days I don't really feel pregnant either...I have symptoms and I feel different but they are all very mild! I think it's still just early. The only thing that was major for me was intense hunger ALL the time. I am five weeks three days today (that I know), my first appointment is May 1st.

Okay, did anyone else find it crazy that they woke up and their clothes fit, but then they got their BFP and suddenly their jeans felt tight?  What is that about????  LOL

That is really the only symptom I have except the fatigue, but I'm still crate training a puppy and am up at least twice a night with him.....so I really don't count that as a symptom!  LOL

Yes just remember every pregnancy is different so it's nothing to worry about :) For me personally, the only symptoms I had at first were my jeans being way too tight and mild cramping but that happened whenever I had AF come to visit. Once I hit 6 weeks, I felt nauseated all the time and HATED food yet my body was always hungry lol. So I would just enjoy the no symptoms while you can! :)

Another one here who didn't have many symptoms :-)

However, the few symptoms I did have started around Week 6/7/8. Mild nausea, some food aversions, completely exhausted. Every week that passed with relatively few symptoms, I was so thankful!

I never had any symptoms even once. My only common pregnancy symptom was some strech marks that started to appear during my 35th week.  I swear if I did not see my huge belly, I would not have believed it. Some just get lucky :) I hope you remain symptom free because I must say I loved it

I'm not too far ahead of you--I'm probably 7 weeks along, and up until yesterday, the only symptoms I had were fatigue, hunger (every 2 hours), and sore nipples.  And I totally get what you're saying about not feeling any symptoms, but they may come along later, or you may not get them at all, and you can still have a healthy baby.  If you're eating healthy stuff pretty frequently (especially if it's rich in protein and/or complex carbs), you may be staving off the MS, which is good!  Let us know how your doctor's visit goes!
