sciatica nerve in early pregnancy?

I have been having this shooting pain in my lower back/butt. I cannot pin point it to sleeping funny or working out too hard, but it is killing me! I know sciatica nerve issues is common in pregnancy, but how early does it start? I am just a hair over 7 weeks!

Sorry you have to deal with this too! My sciatica started early, before 12 weeks too.

I was just Googling this yesterday! lol I've had random shooting pain from my butt to the the back of my knee. Not consistently, but enough that I noticed because it happened more than once. One time it was almost like someone kicked me behind my knee! I read it typically becomes more common later in the pregnancy, but it is possible to have it earlier on.

I was in agony for about 3 days early on, and then only had twinges after that until labor when it came back. I still get occasional pains now but it's totally bearable now....or it's just been happening for so long now that I'm immune to the pain!! Lol

yup, i had it early on too!  everything is moving and stretching to make room, so that's why it's acting up.
