What are your thoughts with Cramping?

Morning Ladies...

I've been experiencing cramps for the last month and wanted to know if by chance any of you ladies have experienced the same? I have read that it is normal but considering that I am still within my first trimester, I am still a little freakin out over here. Is this normal.

Completely normal!  In fact, I get a little nervous if I didn’t feel a little cramping.  After all, your body is stretching and growing and making room for the little bean so a bit of cramping is normal.  I feel it most in the morning but throughout the day as well.  As long as you don’t feel “bent over” with pain, then you should be fine.

I got cramps, and bled several times. I also got a terrible stabbing pain once and it turned out that my ligaments had torn - if you are ever concerned I would give your doctor a quick call just to double check, but pains and twinges seem to be quite common from what I can gather.

Yes, I have. My OB said I shouldn't worry too much about it but to document the pain level of my cramps and report back to him every time we meet. Which by the way is every 2 weeks rather than the normal 4 week check ups. He flagged me as "high risk" pregnancy due to the ectopic pregnancy I had last year. I just have to keep reminding myself to take it easy. They think I am about 7-8wks but I wont find out "exactly" until my next check up on the 24th.

Thanks for the reassurance ladies!

ditto dork, i've had cramping since i found out (a little after 4 weeks) and i get weirded out when i'm not!  my OB said its normal, unless its like doubled over in pain type of cramping.

if you find yourself cramping after physical activity, take a break!

I had a few episodes of cramping but not severe. My ob said I was fine and quite normal.

I feel the same way. I have it off and on. Some days none, and others its a lot. Its also hard bc I don't have too many symptoms so I think it scares me more. But its never doubled over pain its just not comfortable or the position im sitting in causes like a pinch. idk. lol. GL- I feel your worries!

I also had pretty strong cramps early on, and round ligament pain that started early as well. It's normal!

I'm so glad so many of you have experienced this. I have some pressure and cramping on the sides of my uterus, especially on the right, which I know is where your ligaments are. But being my first time I'm paranoid about everything.
