What kind of spotting did you have?

I know they say some is normal but it's still upsetting to see.  This has happened three times.  At 4w5d on the cruise on the tissue only it was like watered down pinkish color.  I thought this was a bad sign but it didn't happen anymore.  Exactly one week later we had the U/S and saw the sac and dr said everything was fine.  When I got up off the table there was a spot on the tissue table cover (same watered down pinkish color).  Called Dr. back in and he examined me and said everything looked fine and he didn't see anymore.  Today, same thing on the tissue this morning at work but nothing since.  BTW, we haven't DTD since the BFP. We go in for 7w1d U/S  tomorrow morning.  I'm trying to stay relaxed but I'm a nervous wreck!  After nearly 3 years this has to be it for us!

Hi October!

I never had first trimester bleeding after I got a positive pregnancy test. But I did experience brown/old spoting once during my second trimester. I woke up one morning and had small brown spotting on my underwear, I called the nurse and she said it was nothing to worry about since it was brown in color, but if it continued I needed to come in. Then during my third trimester I had a little bright red spotting ...(here comes a little TMI) after I had a bowel movement, called the nurse and she said that's normal especially if I was pushing to hard (darn constipation!)- she suggested I drink more water n eat more fiber.

Any bleeding during pregnancy is totally scary! I suggest you always call your nurse/doc when you experience it just to put your mind at ease. Thankfully, most of the time, a little spotting is totally normal. Any pressure to the cervix can cause a little bleeding (who knew constipation /pushing to hard would cause that?)

Keep calm, stay positive and pray! I'm sure your LO is fine :) HUGS!

Please keep us posted!

Yes, I'm still on progesterone.  After I got up from the exam table and saw it we called the Dr. back in and he did do an exam and said he didn't see anything.  I'll mention it again tomorrow morning...good thing is no bright red and it's super super light so I'm praying it's nothing.

Thanks, ladies!

I had slight spotting in the first trimester, similar to what you describe. When I was about 21 weeks I had an awful bleed and was convinced that I was MC, went to the hospital and all was fine, the same thing happened at 29 weeks and then at 32 (which is when I stopped working and rested because I was getting too worried that something was wrong)

Hope everything Is ok xx
