When did you begin...

to feel like it was REAL? I got my BFP this past Monday, and am guessing I'm only 4-5 weeks (probably close to starting the 5th) right now. I had some cramping last weekend, but other than that, my only signs of expecting have been my missing period and (many ;)) positive tests. No breast tenderness (although I have never experienced this, even with AF), and no other real notable "symptoms." Every day I have to pinch myself - am I really pregnant?! DH and I both agree it feels surreal (in a great way, obviously).

So I guess my question is, and maybe it sounds silly, but when did it sink in? Was it when you saw the positive test? Was it when you experienced your first bout of morning sickness? When you told your parents or closest friends? Do share! :)

As corny as this might sound it still doesn't feel real! My son is 14 months and I still stop and think sometimes "is this for real?!?" And I wonder what I did to get such an amazing little boy :-)
When I was pregnant probably when I could feel him move! That was a huge "yep there is a baby in there!!"

I agree with prinncessjen :) My son is now 4 months old and I still cannot believe he is mine... Am I really a MOM? What?
For me it started becoming real when everyone started noticing my belly. You know the stares and questions from strangers (be ready, you will get lots of those). ;)
It was about 6 1/2 when I stared showing and by month 8 it was crystal clear that I was indeed pregnant.
It, of course, felt wonderful to feel him move, but it still felt like it was just something that DH and I imagined lol... When strangers start pointing it out however, it became more real since now it was all anyone wanted to talk to me about haha ;)

I would elaborate, but typing on my tiny phone keyboard is so frustrating :-/

I'm like the other ladies - my DD is almost 4 weeks and it dosnt feel real! I guess when she started kicking I could accept something was happening but then there would be moments Id completely forget she was in there. Enjoy every minute as it all goes by way to fast!

I was probably about 9 or 10 weeks, but then at my 12 week scan we found out we were having twins so I went through the disbelief stage again!!
I still have days where I can't believe I'm a mom, and the boys will be 5 in July!! I had a moment this morning when they were doing their Easter egg hunt - it's very surreal sometimes!

I'm due in like 4.5 weeks and it still doesnt feel real.  It's like the whole thing leading up to your wedding, you know it's going to happen and all that but you dont really realize it until that day happens.  I think what adds to our "not feeling real" part too is we don't know our baby's gender so we can't refer to him/her as the name we have picked out.  Right now it's lovingly called Sasquatch, thanks to my mother, because we found out he/she has huge feet and a lot of hair haha.

I'm 20 weeks (EEEEK!) and it still doesn't feel real. There are times that it does; the bump appearing, the boob soreness, the hungry all the time, the ultrasounds of our littel cupcake, the movements I can now feel!, the other fun changes but I still have this surreal feeling. I'm constantly amazed by the whole journey and enjoying it as much as I can! It doesn't go away, it just fades a little more and more. :)

Another one here who still doesn't believe it! :-) I'm 25 weeks (feeling like DansMrs -- OMG!!!) and there are moments where it hits me, but for the most part it still feels surreal. Like Murph said, almost like I am planning for a friend or some abstract baby that will be here "some day" and not in THREE MONTHS! But the ultrasounds, baby kicks/movement and *big* purchases definitely make it all more real! :-)
