Does anyone else feel their pulse/heartbeat?

Sometimes when I'm just sitting on the couch, it feels like my heartbeat is pounding throughout my whole entire body. It's bizzare and I'm not sure how much I like it! I Googled it and it sounds like it's because when you're pregnant your body has about 25% more blood volume and so you work harder to pump and circulate it all. But those are all forum posts. I think I'll ask about it at my next OB appt. But I wanted to know if anyone else experiences this?

OMG, yes! It feels like someone is beating a drum inside me, and TMI, but when I am lying down and I look down at my boobs I can see them shake in time to the heartbeat

Hah @Frankie! I was trying to see if I could feel the baby kick on the outside yet, so I kept my hand on my belly and all I could feel was my pulse! So I asked DH if he could feel it, and of course he thought I was crazy. I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this!

Yes it's because you have way more blood now in your body as before. Therefore you feel your pulse so extremly. I have it often while laying in bed on my ear - horrible :)
