It's been quiet, but let's get this going again! Update us on where you are now and what's going on in your life.
AFM I am 20w6d and I popped this weekend. Seriously, I went to bed and I woke up larger!
The doctor called last week with my latest US results and diagnosed partial placenta previa which means my plancenta is partially on my cervix. Usually it resolves itself, but if it doesn't I could go into early labor and will likely need a c-section. On a TMI note, I'm banned from DTD until it clears. Por DH! The plus side is that I get to have another ultrasound at 28w and see the baby again! Everything else with baby and mom are a-OK!
Fingers crossed that it resolves itself, but I'm glad everything else is going ok!
AFM I'm 24w6d and preparing myself for the 1hr GD test tomorrow. The nurse told me last time I was in that it tastes kind of like flat mountain dew, which embarrasingly enough is something I've had before so I'm not too worried about getting it down - just worried about the results as diabetes runs on my dad's side of the family. Other than that everything's going great! DH and I have been enjoying the feel of the little bean kicking up a storm, and we're getting ready for a mini vacation to my cousin's place in FL at the beginning of March. It's not going to be a babymoon really since my mom is coming along too, but I'm really excited to be escaping to the warmth down south none the less!
Ohhh hgoodluck with the GD test! I've been dreading it, but you make it sound not so bad.
So your DH can feel the baby kick now? At 21w I'm still feeling it slightly but I'm anxious for DH to be able to!
So the drink was more like flat Sprite that was three times as sweet as normal, but they had it so cold that it wasn't too hard to get down at all. My OB's office says they'll only call if I didn't pass or if I'm right on the borderline of failing, so here's to hoping I don't hear from them any time soon :)
