I got to hear the heartbeat!

I had my first ultrasound on Friday and got to see and hear our little bean, woohoo!

I'm slightly embarrased to say that this didn't feel real to me until now. The only sympton like things I've had are gas and non-stop needing to pee - I haven't had any food cravings or morning sickness yet (which I'm grateful for!) but I'm 9 weeks now and I wanted something to let me know my little bean is coming right along on track.

So exciting! Honestly I'm right there with you, I'm 6 weeks tomorrow. Other than being exhausted most of the time, I'm not convinced it's even real.

Was this your first prenatal apt? I really really hope they do something like this for mine!

oh my gosh the exhaustion, how could I forget to add that - it's been insane!

Yep, this was my first prenatal appt. In fact, the OB office I chose doesn't even schedule you with the Doctor until you've had an ultrasound there -  which I wasn't expecting, but hey I'll take any excuse to see the little bean :)

Congrats! So exciting! Honestly, I'm 34 weeks, and it still doesn't feel real sometimes!
