I think they did a really great job! But I know it's for your wedding and you want it to be perfect.

I think it's an important lesson for other's considering Dressilyme to realize that they cannot replicate a dress exactly. They can make a facsimile.

It looks really great on you! I agree, through, lace seems to be a strong point.

Caramel I think it looks absolutely gorgeous!  It really looks nice with the sash too!

That "sash" is a taupe stretchy belt from H&M. haha.. I don't know why I didn't just use the black sash they included... So anyway, I'm not in LOVE with the dress because of the flappity organza wings they put as the top tier of the skirt - I'm gonna see if a seamstress can do anything about that. They stick out, imo. Like unplainjane said, the organza material isn't exactly the best...as soft as it looks in photos, it's still pretty much like crystal organza. The kind in store felt more like chiffon or georgette. I wonder if I should have used georgette....has anyone used that for a dress?

I like the train length and the bodice. There's not much of a mermaid shape though I'm having a hard enough time walking in this already. Ha! Oh and another good point I sholud make is that the bodice is SUPER sturdy and thick - like a real gown! I was verrry impressed with that. Shoulda just had an all-over lace/bead dress made instead!

Ultimately not in love with it due to the skirt being so weirdly puffy. Placing all bets on the la sposa remake... btw David's Bridal is having a sale for anyone who hasn't bitten the custom-made-dress bullet. Prices aren't too shabby! Still maybe twice as much as Dressilyme's prices, but at least you get to try stuff on.

Yes, I still want a third dress made. :)
