How would this turn out?

Ok I FOUND my photo 3341578-2

Ok. I FOUND my DRESS! In my 6th bridal shop appointment - finally! Up until this point I was dead set on becoming a Dressily bride. However, after seeing this one I'm not sure they would be able do make it look the same since they stray a tad bit on the detail department sometimes. What do you ladies think?

I am experiencing sticker shock - she costs $1,750 for the retail price plus the rush fee. My budget was $500. Ooops. But I'm in absolute love. I have been scoping the used dress boards on several sites in hopes of finding her...

So do you guys think I should give them a go with this one or should I stick to a safer taffeta or tulle dress?

s:s The above is photo 3341588-1

The above is the only replica I could find online and it really doesn't go... with the flowers all in the wrong place and the material jus tdoesn't look as thick. Do you think Dressily would do it like this or more like the photo? honest opinions? :)

Hm... I've actually found the real maggie version from two different brides online... (I asked them to mail me photos of the certificate next to today's paper from their towns with the date readable to prove they are real and in the US and they both agreed)

I may end up going that route but I'm at least buying the jewelry from Dressily.

After the disappointment I had with my dress from Dressilyme and the dress you picked being pretty elaborate, I'd suggest going the preowned route. I'm going to be on the lookout for a dress I plan on trying on this weekend to see if I can find a bride selling it rather than attempting a replica again. At this point, I'd rather pay more than deal with the unknown and the replica sites' dishonest policies. I don't know how much the brides you've talked to are selling the dress for, but this site has it listed at $1399: http://www.weddingshoppeinc.com/pr/Rhianna+Royale/7010?gdftrk=gdfV2619_a_7c732_a_7c7280_a_7c7010

An update on my situation...they are refusing to accept a return even though "Janet" acknowledged that the dress they sent me isn't A-line and the item details say "A-line" multiple times. I've issued disputes with PayPal and my credit card company on the premise that the dress I received doesn't match the product description.

Dressilyme tried to tell me it was because I'm a different size than the model in the picture. Um no, the skirt is full at the top when it should be tapered...it doesn't matter what size you are. I did post a negative comment on their Facebook page, and they wrote me back, but their initial response was to offer me a $15 discount on my next purchase. Ha!

Have you tried emailing and asking if they could do it? And I would stress that you love this dress exactly as is. They are honest and will tell you if it won't look the same.

WHAT?! that's CRAZY! Yea I would definitely hope that your credit card or Paypal will refund you the money. Let us know what happens! Maybe if you keep posting on their site on FB negative reviews they will do something. Surely they don't want the public to see how royally they screwed up.

I ended up finding the dress on Oncewed.com for $700. A lot more than I originally wanted to spend but at least this way I know exactly what it will be. I will probably still buy my jewelry from Dressily.

I'm glad you found it at such a great price! I honestly think you will be happier buying the dress from Oncewed. Even if I wasn't having problems with Dressily, I've read other reviews that say that it's better to stick with fairly simple designs when ordering from them. That dress is BEAUTIFUL, though, and I would hate to see you with a disappointing replica.

And now "Janet" is trying to backpedal from when she said "The dress is not Aline design indeed. The dress is full in skrit." In her most recent email, she wrote, "We are sorry to tell you that sorry my mistake in my last emails. The dress is A-line and our dressmaker tailored the as Aline style for your dress." Of course NOW she says that after I'm arguing that the dress doesn't match the description. She also asked me to close my PayPal dispute and they would offer me a settlement, but didn't say what that would be. Once you close a dispute on PayPal, you can't reopen it. Do they really think I'm that dumb??

As of now, the credit card company has credited the amount to my account, but if they decide to rule in Dressily's favor, the charge will repost. Just waiting to see what they decide. I'd have no problem returning the dress, but Dressilyme won't send me an RA# to return it!

hm.. yea I wouldn't close the dispute with Paypal until I had their refund in writing. Make sure you forward her emails on to your credit card company or paypal because that shows that Dressily really did make a mistake.

That's good so far then! Are you going to go with Dressily again? Have you checked OnceWed or Recycled Bride? I have seen some similar ones to yours on there but not sure what size you need.

When I started looking, I googled "maggie sottero rhianna royale size 14 for sale" and up popped a few. I also searched the craigslist sites for my area as well as the areas of each of my bridesmaids and close family members so I could send them a check and have them go get it and ship it since they'd probably think I was a scammer if I asked them to ship it.

Yep, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the dispute will rule in my favor! I've uploaded the email I received from Dressilyme where they agreed that the dress in not A-line, a screenshot of the dress page with the item details saying "A-line" circled multiple times as well as a screenshot of their site policy saying that they ensure each dress is made according to the item details. I think these disputes take awhile to close, though, so now I'm just waiting. I've stopped communicating with Dressily because they just keep repeating themselves and continue to refuse to let me return it.

I think I'll end up either buying from a preowned dress site or else just buy from a bridal salon. I still have over a year before my wedding, so I'm not in a rush!

Did you end up buying your dress yet?
