I am NEW and have some questions for you ladies!!!!

I am going to order my dress from Dressilyme...mny first question is can I send them a picture of any dress and have them replicate (if they can) it doesn't have to be one of the ones on their website correct? Also how quick are they about correcting issues with the dress?

Yes you can send them a pic and see if they can make it. That's what I did and now the dress is on their website!

They pretty much will not correct issues with the dress, you get what you get, sight unseen...

Hi Yvee and welcome!

I beg to differ from Lmgajewski...I sent them a dress to replicate and asked for pictures of the progress. They sent me a picture of the final before it shipped instead (took about 3 weeks), and I found the skirt portion to be quite different from the inspiration dress. They used the wrong type of organza. You can see my WAVERLEY post on this board. A few people suggested that I just take it as is because "well, what did you expect from them?" which is true considering the price point, but I figured there was no harm in asking. Ashley was very accommodating and threw the dress back into production. I was very happy with the new skirt in-progress, but then when I saw the latest changes they made after that, turned out they actually only made one change out of my requests. I offered to pay them more if they'd be willing to fix and finish it. Awaiting her reply....

My suggestion is to give them a dress with details that you're pretty confident they can do well (lace, beadwork, pleating, and ruching seem to be their strong points). I had no idea if they could do cascading diagonal ruffles, and that was one of the main problems in the back of dress. I scoured their site for samples of cascading ruffles with no luck before I took a chance on them. Still, I think they're pretty damn good at what they do. You just have to be very clear on what you want - closeup shots would be best. Good luck!!
