I'm new....can you help with suggestions?

I'm new to the project wedding site and I found a dress on Dressilyme that I really want. There was another site but I couldn't find anything about it, but when I found this site it seemed better than most for low prices and reviews.

The dress I want is STYLE NO.WWD0039R and I've read that the site has problems with its colors....my wedding is Irish theme (which is blue and lavender); blue is what the Irish brides wear therefore I really want to put a blue where the red is on the dress. The blue I'm thinking is a really really light blue, almost a white I guess I think that would be the less dominating or should I just go with the boulder blue?

Plus I'm still very uncertain of this site....is there a smell I think I remember reading that somewhere. Is it a decent quality?

Has anyone ever ordered this dress or a dress similar?

Thank you for your help

Hmmm I'm really thinking of the darker blue or more bold blue. A colbolt or navy looks good from what i've seen on sites; do you think it would match with my overall colors?

I found the original dress is Bonny Bridal 808. Still no options to view different colors online :(

I found a similar dress in blue on their site, have you seen it? I think this blue will match your theme. And there isn't any weird smell in my dress, I haven't read any complain about the smell lately. So don't worry :)

Thank you very much for your reply. I really appreciate it and I'm glad you loved your dress :D and very glad there is no bad smell. We are definitely considering this site!!!!!

We were thinking of getting his tux too, has anyone ever gotten a tux from the site?

Hmm I showed that blue dress to my fiance and he said he prefers a darker blue than that but not a complete dark blue. He's thinking the royal blue. Does anyone know what the royal blue looks after its actually made (I know all the colors look different than the pictures)

From their color chart I'd say Royal Blue probably goes best with your theme! I haven't seen it "live" but it sure looks pretty on my screen :-) The dress is gorgeous!

Dressilyme sent me a picture of the dress created by them, just without a petticoat:

I recommend ording fabric swatches!!! I got a mother of the groom dress that should have been a mint color but ended up being an awful like bright green color.

What did it look like in the "actual color chart" because the dress I'm wanting in the "available color" part its completely different than the chart:

color-wise if you're going for the dark blue I'd go with Royal or Sapphire. I compared the actual color chart to my dress (I got ivory) and found if I tilted my screen back on the laptop a bit, the color was right on. If you have the time, I'd go the safe route and order swatches.

The tux... I think we discussed this and the point was made, for a good fitting suit, or tux, there are a lot of fitting issues that possibly giving the standard measurements may not quite work for.

Measurements -  have a professional do them. Just do. If you don't have a seamstress friend, pay the fee to have them done. It's worth it. Wear your shoes, or ones with the same size heel you plan on wearing. And if you can, the same foundation garments (bra/corset/spanx whatever)
