Our Formal Living SpaceD
I just realized that I have never posted any pics of our home... so I decided to share our entry and formal area...
frame purchased from Goodwill for $10. Homemade artwork from a fern plant in my backyard and used a the matt from another frame I had that wasn't being used
Got these candlesticks from Goodwill for $2 each. Got the candle tapers from the Dollar Tree
Got the vase and a hydrangea stem from Walmart, $10 total
to the right, is our formal living space. We wanted a cozy place and wanted to make this a great conversation area, so we placed our sofas close together facing each other
From another view
We purchased 2 types of couches simular yet not but that complimented each other
This one is a more masculine sofa. Deep cousions, rectangle back, nailhead trim with petal stool feet
This is a more feminine sofa. Camel back, curves in the right placed and a little more petite... more like a love seat. But this one does have petal stool feet just on a smaller scale
Frames were purchased from Ikea and wedding pics were printed from our photog. Coffee table houses our wedding album, engagement album and other random family albums
This buffet was graciously passed down to us from my grandparents. I had plans to refinish this but on second thought, it is absolutely perfect the way it is. I love every knick and scratch
I wanted to keep the decor simple ans sweet. I purchased these jars from Home Goods for $30
This bottle with artificial flowers was only $12 from TJ Maxx and the two birds were .50 each and spray painted white
This trunk was passed down from Ramon's father. I'm in love with this piece and again, did not want to touch it's worn look. Just beautiful the way it is.
Our side table was given to us by my grandparents, this one however, will be painted white! Can't wait for this project to begin!!
So, there you have it. Our entry and formal living space. =)
