Would This Be Okay - Dining Room

We currently have light wood paneling in the dining room (UGH) and DH and I are starting to plan out what we are wanting to do over the next several months.  We are planning on covering up the paneling and I am definitely interested in using some wainscoting on the bottom of the walls to add a little bit of a flair to this room.

My question is...should I get white or maybe paint it a black?  Here is the dining room set that we will be getting.

We currently have light photo 3121490-1

If you all have any other suggestions, we are open to pretty much anything right at the moment.  : )

I would go more toward a light color, I think black will make the room dark.. I like this table alot. I am thinking a light green wall and simple accessories. The table is beautiful and makes a statement on its own.

Oooh, I did not even think of that choice!  YES!!!  I really like that idea.  I was watching the DIY network last night and they showed a segment on how to paint frames on walls and I was thinking maybe that would like nice as well.  Nothing too heavy, light colors because like you said, I don't want to make the room look dark.  : o )
