Ohio Brides

Any Ohio brides that are getting married in the fall?  I am planning my wedding for October 2010 and I am looking for vendor recommendations.  I am really struggling with the photographer b/c I don't know what a "good" price should be.  Any referrals, advice, tips, etc. on vendors would be helpful.

We have a bunch of reviews from the Ohio area that would be helpful in choosing vendors.

Well I'm not from Ohio but I'm from central Indiana... so not too far :)

Here I've found the photographers in the indianapolis area run anywhere from $1,200 to 3,500 +

It really depends on how many hours of coverage you want, if you want extra prints, or a second photographer.

Personally I'm picking a photographer who had very flexible plans. He basically shoots the wedding /engagement for $1,600 and gives you the option to decide how many prints/extras you want to add on later. He also gives you the rights to ALL the photos on DVD which is a huge plus to me. Although professional prints are better, If I want more to give to more disstant family and friends later, I can print extras at CVS or Wallgreens if I want and they won't mind :P

So I'd recommend looking at how flexible they are with the package, because it can save you alot on the costs of printing etc.

I am in the Cleveland area.  My photography is being done by RAD productions.  They will travel anywhere.  They were mid-level in the pricing, but I love love love their style and I truly believe they give you the most bang for the buck with the quality of their pics.

I am getting a photographer all day (12 hours) and I get ALL the pics on disk with rights to print (they still hold the rights but give me permission to print).  The cost is $2000, which also includes a complimentary engagement session (we didn't need this, so I haggled and his wife is going to do my b-pics instead!)

For DIY anything, check out the flower factory if they have one in your area.  I love them!
