weight loss

So, I am getting married October 3rd, 2009. I want to loose 20 pounds, I am working out eating less.....just not super motivated to do so. Anyone else trying to loose weight? Any suggestions for keeping on track?

best way to stay motivated is shopping! I LOVE going shopping after a good week of eating healthy and working out. its always nice to fit into a smaller size.

Cut carb...lots of veget, salads, fruits...no snacks, or only healthy one but at a min.

me too!!!  I'm SO unmotivated!  in fact, I'm actually considering not doing b-pics b/c I'm so out of shape rather than just putting in the extra effort to get in shape.  I know I just need to stick to 2 weeks of hard-core workouts and then I'll be fine maintaining...but I've been meaning to start for the past 10 wks...and still haven't!  we should definitely motivate each other!  :D

Melyssaj, We should definitely motivate each other! Its crazy, super motivated about everything else. My first fitting is coming up and I have found every reason on why I can't make it. I am going to the gym this am! My wedding is getting close and I need to start moving or stop complaining :)

For motivation, you should get a work-out buddy.  I find that I feel worse about making excuses if it will put someone else out.  Good Luck!

My motivation is thinking about how much I will be spending on my pictures and knowing that I will be looking at them for a lifetime. I want them to be beautiful, and not think I look big in them. As a result, I have sacrificed my favorite time with FI (waking up with him), and I have been rolling out of bed everyday at 5:30 am to go to the gym...the harddest part is getting up, after that you might as well go you already got out of bed. I also have a SUPER hot workout buddy and she motivates me...but its nice to see the results!!! Be like Nike and JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!
