Do you want to travel more as a couple?

One of the things I want to do before we think about having kids is travel a lot more because once you have children that isn't always financially or practically possible. I want to have as many experiences as possible while we're young.

In the next two years we're going to travel around Europe a lot more, and I want to see more of America as well as visiting New Zealand.

Does anyone else see travelling as an important part of "just the two of us" time?

Traveling is definitely a fun and important aspect I believe..... I think because it gives you and your SO the opportunity to create these special, intimate and personal memories just between you two and the places you travel becomes a personal memory shared only between the two of you.

DH and I have gone on what I call a ton of mini adventrues..... whether it's been driving down the east coast to Florida, heading into the wilderness in Pennsylvania, conquering the steep terrain in a mini rental car in Tortola or just going and visiting my family in the midwest, they are adventures that are just ours.... I think traveling really does have a way of bringing people closer together.

Traveling isn't something we've had much opportunity to do but it's something we would like to do more of. Right now we just don't have the financial means, and DH doesn't have much time off of work. Even if we just did some mini-getaways to B&B's or something, I'd be happy.

Travel is one big reason we're holding off, actually. We want to enjoy these things with just the two of us, and maybe once kids are old enough we'll enjoy it as a family.

Yes, definitely. While we have traveled a ton seperately, we haven't been overseas together. Collectively we've been to over 20 countries but never together!

We hope to go to Italy next year (at least).  I'd also like to go to Mexico and take my mom as she's getting older and may not be able to do as much traveling pretty soon.

We've done a bit of traveling together around our own state, the southeast, and New York (where he's from).

Yes yes and yes! We want to travel before kids come along...we would love to go to Greece, Italy, Australia and much more! I feel like we will be saving forever...now for the wedding and the house, then traveling...the spending never ends! :)
