I swear everyone is pregnant!!! :D

Everywhere I look, I see that a lot of brides are now preggo...  Makes me feel left out of some club ;)

Not that I'm not EXTREMELY happy for them but man...  Makes me feel like the only one waiting...  (Which I know I'm not)

I'll be 27 this year and DH will be 30.  Everyone keeps telling me my "clock is ticking"... Pssh :)  We are thinking in three years.. But who knows...

It's definitely hard with my BFF expecting twins... :) :) :)

Tempting.. But not...

How do you guys deal??

When everyone else is excited about having kids or whatever, DH and I like to do something. Anything. Go to a movie, dinner, walking, short trip. Why? Because you don't have that freedom with a kid. There's feedings, babysitters, responsibility. And people that whine about being away from their kids. Or, take them along where ever they go and have to watch them instead of just doing whatever they want.

:) Not the nicest answer. But a lady once told me that before we have kids, do everthing you've ever wanted to. Have a bucket list of sorts. And when it's all done, you'll feel ready.

This is my very selfish answer. I want my money to be my money i want to buy stuff, like a house car nice things. I want to be selfish for the next 4 years with our money and have to worry. we have so many friends that are missing out on our wedding and weedin activities because they have kids and don't want to be away from them. once you have a kid that is something you are responsable for the rest of your life i don't think i'm ready for that. First a dog then maybe a kid in 5-7 years. there is no biological clock ticking for me right now

I am not a maternal person at all, but even I empathise with what you're saying about feeling left out. Like the others have said, when I see our friends' kids and feel like it might be nice I just think about the late night feeding, the screaming and all the other realities of bringing up a child and then I remember that yeah, we actually have it pretty sweet.

I definitely know what you mean. It seems like half of my Facebook wall is covered in posts by pregnant people! People from PW, people I went to college with... it's nuts.

We got to spend some time with my niece and nephews over the weekend and it was great! But DH and I went home saying, "At LEAST 5 years" while downing Excedrin Migraine and rubbing our ringing ears. Egads, the VOLUME alone is enough to make you reconsider ever having kids! Nothing like a few kids under the age of 5 to educate you on what "shrieking" really is... ;)

So if you get the chance to hang out with kids, do it... they can be really neat. But also appreciate the moments you can hand them back to their mom & dad and go home. Your time will come.

I just watched our nieces for literally less than an hour and I couldn't take it!! LOL!

I was stressing like no tomorrow!

But, Sarah, like you, my FB is FULL of pregnant posts.

Which I'm fine with!

Just feel like I missed the memo ;)

But you all are right... I'm trying to do more since I don't have to worry :)

I could actually see myself without ANY kids, but I know I want one.

We found out over the weekend that my brother & sister-in-law are pregnant with #4! And last night I kept dreaming I was taking a pregnancy test. :P

I don't think I have a maternal bone in my body. People say that it will just click and that i will want to have a kid but to be honest the thought scares me.

I'm happy for everyone that is having kids but it so not where my brain is at this moment in time.

I'm really hoping that people won't begin on the "when are you going to have kids" question because i think i will scream. :P
