Alterations question

My wedding is May 28th and I haven't had my first fitting yet. I don't believe in paying for two separate fittings because I don't think it should be necessary. I was told that the alterations would take 3 weeks and that's allowing some cushion. I want to wait until around the 21st to get it done. It would be back by May 12th. What are your thoughts?

I think that sounds like a good plan. But I am not a pro by any means!

Im not a pro by any means either but that sounds like a good plan... and close to what I am doing... I don't feel the need to have to pay for two fitting either... Where I'm from you just do one unless you just loose alot of weight and have to do it twice ;) Luckily for me I am having a sweet lady doing it from her home who has done it for 30 years  but doesn't do it for the public anymore so she is supper fast so I plan to take mine to her the end of April and I will be done and pressed way before my May 21st wedding... So to me your plan sounds good :)

Sounds good to me. Especially if you are losing weight or still toning up.

i had to get two because she let out the sides, if they touch the sides it moves the dress up or down so you still might need two
