do you think its bad to hand deliver invites to ppls mailbox if they live close?... i dont want to spend a fortune on stamps lol
I mailed an invite to guests who lived next door to me. =) I felt that if I was mailing out most of them that I might as well mail out all of them. Seemed more personable to me.
Ha! I honestly wouldn't care if someone handed me the invite at all. But I would still include an RSVP card with stamp so they don't have to drive it back ;-)
P.S. I mailed it my parents after my dad filled out the RSVP card at my house. I also made them mail it back. I'm a snob like that!
Totally not. When I was putting together the first batch, one of FI's friends came over for the day to visit. I gave him his invitation and told him to just "open the RSVP, check accept and give it right back to me now". lmao
He actually did it and said "with pleasure". That was my first RSVP and it saved three stamps (two for the envelope and one for the rsvp envelope).
Yeah, I was excited and FI also hand delivered one to his boss on Monday. No shame. Those stamps are hella expensive and we found the ones we have given it to in their hand were very appreciative.
I hand delivered as well and FI and his mom, 80% of our invites ha ha!
