Help! Baby constipation :(

My 9 day old is constipated, went I took her to pediatrician she said to add more water to the formula. I did but she is still constipated, last night she was "pushing" and crying all night, she only calmed down after pooping. Any remedies something I can give her? Never had this problem with my other kids. She is not breastfeed, only powedered formula.

Try Colic Calm, bicycle legs or if all else fails stuck a q-tip or themometer in her bum - she should poop asap!

Stay away from gas drops my pedi says that can make it worse!

One of my boys had this problem when he was teenie, bicycle legs definitely worked and straight after feeding I would lay him on my legs and rub his belly in a clockwise motion. It definitely relieved the pain for him, it took a few days of doing it to sort the problem completely

Bicycle legs or a warm bath. If you do the q-tip, put some vaseline on the end of it.

My DD is 3mo's so I'm not sure if you can give your's this yet, but Pedia Lax gave her immediate relief (just a liquid glycerin suppository- the box says two years and up but the ped said 1/4 dose is fine.) My ped also said an oz of apple juice will help get things moving.
