Here's this week's thread lovely ladies!!!
Hey ladies! Wer are still waiting for summer over here, although is getting better slowly..
I'm doing good! DH is out of town this week, so I get a lot of ME-time which I love :-) tonight a friend is coming over for dinner. And as the LO is at daycare today he will be very tired and go to bed early, so we will have lots of time to have a good girlie-chat-evening! Yay! Work is slow this week... and my belly is getting really huge! In one week we have our next u/s, can't wait :-)
Hope you all have an amazing week!
@Swissbride: awwww, you are having another LO!! So sweet!!
Hello ladies! I have been MIA from this group so it is nice to be back and it is nice to see you nenyibabs!
What work have you resumed nenyibabs? Please share and how is it going?
Hey Olivia! Nothing like quality time with the ladies. Sometimes that is just the thing we need!
As for me, I was diagnosed with Lupus two weeks ago. I was prescribed Paquelin, which was having horrible debilating side affects on me, so I called the pharmacist. Found out I shouldn't be taking it because I have Psoriasis as well as red blood cell deficiency called G6PD, so it was discontinued. I had to leave work by ambulance on Thursday and go to the hospital because I passed out at work. I have an appointment to see a new rheumatologist on June 20 because I feel the current one has a huge patient load and did not give me the care or attention I need. So right now I am on no medication for the illness except for vicodin when it gets bad, but I have been having a couple of good days so far. Traded in my heels for some flat shoes, but I am so blessed I am still walking and have my hubby! This has been real hard on him as well, but we had a very good talk this past Saturday and I love him more! My niece graduated on Friday and we gave her a bbq celebration Saturday. Saturday evening my 13 year old niece volunteered to watch my stepchildren so me and DH could enjoy an evening with friends and we had such a great time! There were several couples and one couple got engaged! Me and DH danced and laughed into the wee hours of the night and it was just the thing we needed because it has been rough on us these last couple of weeks with me being ill. I planted my flowers, finally, and that was a job and a half! Next year, I will be doing perrenials! Lol.
Wishing all you ladies a wonderful week!
Hey ladies! I have been neglecting this group too :*( I really miss it!!!
Welcome to the group nenyibabs!
Olivia, that girl time is nice sometimes isn't it?! Enjoy!!
Tressy, I'm so glad you got a night out with DH to enjoy each other's company and forget your worries. I hope your new doctor will give you the care you need because we want you to be healthy!! Sending you hugs. Glad to hear from you again!
As for me this week, I took yesterday off from work to visit my grandparents. They probably won't be living in their house much longer (there's stairs and they just can't move very well) It was nice to see them, but it definitely didn't feel like a day off from work because I basically helped my mom clean out their downstairs room. We made a SMALL dent. lol. They have lived there over 60 years, so you can imagine how much they have accumulated. We will prob try to help them have a garage sale at the end of the month. Its hard because they live almost 2 hours away from me, so it's not exactly close. But I did get a pedicure when I got home, so I got a little me time.
Hmm. We are going to a wedding on Saturday! I'm excited for that of course!!! And then Father's Day on Sunday. Nothing too crazy going on!
I have my last project due on Sunday for my class, and I AM SO OVER IT ALREADY!!! I can't wait for this class to be over. Ugh, oh well. Have a great week!
Oh, well,Im a Pharmacist, I work in a specialist hospital, and I took my annual leave after the wedding. I just resumed work after 6weeks of holiday. Feels good to be back, though the holiday was nice..
