jazz band

Can anyone recommend a good jazz band to play at my reception for about five hrs? The budget is slowly but surely getting pinched, but I'd like to do this little extra. So the cheaper the better!! =0/

You're getting married in socal right? Here are a few bands that people like from socal. Hope this helps!

Also you can try going to some open mic nights at local jazz clubs. Sometimes they don't advertise themselves as "wedding" vendors so they might be less expensive.

Have you tried "The Entertainment Connection" at http://tecproductions.com/tec/index.html ? It's kind of a cool site because they list out a bunch of the entertainers (with a separate specific listing of jazz artists in the area, and you can browse around and find someone that works with your budget and has the style you're going for.

I'd also recommend "Anton Schwartz Jazz" which you can check out on www.antonschwartz.com.

Hope this helps! I LOVE live entertainment at a wedding.
