That was the theme for Ashley Simpson's wedding, are you using that as inspiration for anything?

Oh those are fabulous!!!!!!!! No I just want to have a mad tea party. I am in the process of purchasing a bunch of mis-matched antique tea sets to set the tables at the reception with. I did not know Ashley Simpson had that theme! I just wanted it to be WHIMSICAL. So the mad tea party worked perfect for the reception!

There was a professional event planner that had a "Down the Rabbit Hole" wedding last fall. I think its in either this month or last month's Elegant Bride. You should check it out, it was AMAZING. Their main photo, her husband is wearing a cape and crown, its gorgeous!!

Oh my gosh do you like rosemary bread?? I love it. It is really easy to make.

2pkg active dry yeast

2 cups water (105-115)

2Tbsp Sugar

1Tbsp Salt

1/4 cup olive oil

6-6.5 cups of bread flour

2 1/2 Tbsp fresh minced rosemary

Now dissolve the 2 packages of yeast in the 2 cups of water. Make sure the water temperature is between 105-115 so the yeast will rise well. Let that sit for 10 min.

Stir in sugar, salt, oil, and then add three cups of bread flour. Beat this until it is smooth, then add the fresh rosemary. Keep beating and adding flour until it is smooth, not sticky. When it is not sticky anymore knead it for 8 minutes.

Let dough rise in a greased bowl covered(I use a metal bowl and I put olive oil on the dough and in the bowl. I set the bowl on my stove while the oven is heating) Let dough rise in a warm spot for 30-45 minutes. Poke the dough and if your indent stays there, the dough is probably ready.

Punch the dough down and split it in half. Then take each half and split into 3 (so you will have 6 total). Roll the dough out the about 12-14in. They should look like dough ropes. Then braid the dough ropes. I tuck the ends under so they dont come apart.

Then let your two braids rise on a greased baking sheet for 30-45min. Bake for about 30min or until golden brown. Oven should be 375

I love baking this bread because it is simple and soooo good!! I think I will bake one for each table at my wedding.

luckily, fh grew up in a really diverse area so he knows all the "bad" words hahaha and knows the drill when it comes to the food at filipino parties!  get there early so it's fresshhhh!!

he stil wont try the dinuguan tho - oh wel, more for me! hahahaha

we're having our rd at a bbq place, but of course all the "oldies" in my side of the fam were complaining b/c that means no filipino food! haha so maybe the day after the wedding, after our brunch - after all our oot guests are gone, we'll have a dinner at one of my aunt's houses and have all the filipino food there... we dont planning on leaving for the honeymoon until monday or tuesday anyway...

maybe i'll go get some for dinner - the closest filipino restrnt is about 20 minutes away - but it's worth it! the lechon is so yumm!!

see what you started!!! hahahahhahaa
