Unique cake toppers...

Those are soooo cute...I am not sure they are worth $300 plus dollars but they are very cute. Eddie and I are thinking of getting Bobble heads, but we are having a less formal wedding...another idea given to me was mr. and mrs. potato head.

I think those are cute! ...and I'm not big on birds.

lukduck - hey that'd be cool, I've never seen bobble heads before. They might be too heavy for the cake (I kinda feel bad, I bought a Mickey and Minnie one for my friend - you can see it in my pics - and the bakery had to put in special supports for it)

We're going the custom bobble head route for our cake topper. It's $150 from the site we're using and the whole process has been fine so far. We're justifing the expense because my brother is making our cake for us as a wedding gift. So, we're essentially spending only $150 for our cake.

We didn't intend to do a cake topper at first. But we saw this idea and wanted to add something as goofy as we are to our less-than-formal wedding.

I like the monogrammed look, so I'm thinking about a W or nothing at all. Although, he likes the custom clay ones, so we might have two cartoons diving for a Frisbee on top of ours...

Our cake toper was actually 2 ornaments with our initials in Swarovski crystals. I got them on sale after Christmas from Target. They looked perfect and cost about $6. I loved them.

I'm new to this site but I'll post a picture soon.

I'm making my own topper. We are having a beach destination wedding. I?m making it out of white polished mother of pearl shells and white starfish. It's going to be in the shape of a crown kinda and then I'm going to fill the center with fresh flowers. I'll post a photo when it?s finished.

Hey I just wanted to share a great find with you guys. For anyone that likes the cute bird topper. Those toppers are a bit pricey at $300 each I found these


This set is only $70, I found them on Etsy. For those that don't know what Etsy is, it's kinda like a crafters ebay...they have tons of cute stuff.
