URGENT HELP: Cheap Restaurant for Shower in L.A.??

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a place in L.A. (Hollywood, Glendale, Los Feliz or Silverlake) that could host a get-together/shower type thing for 10-15 ppl for super cheap (like $10-$15pp cheap)????

So far the cheapest idea thrown out is a BYOB/Pot-luck park celebration but I'd rather not deal with bugs or have guests lug around their own entrees.

Would there be any decent place that would let us just have cake and soda and open gifts without having to have an expensive meal there?

HELP! :D

BJ's brewery. I hosted my sister's baby shower there and they offer different packages. I think we went with the $13 pp, which included unlimited pizza, salad, and soft drinks. We had her shower in a separate room, away from everyone else. You should call the BJ's in Glendale and Burbank to see if they offer this.

We had our rehearsal dinner at El Cholo and I think the menu we selected was about $14 per person and there were cheaper options available as well.

MG16 - Thanks for the suggestion! I totally forgot about BJ's. They do offer affordable menu's so I'll call and see what they say.

Kristinkay - Another great suggestion! Unfortunately, the closest location requires 15 ppl and starts at $18 pp (which is still reasonable, but not quite right for our little group and tiny budget).

Thanks for chiming in girls. :)

Saw this on yelp for marie callenders in Glendale..

Glendale Marie Callendar's.  The room is free, but you have to buy their, of course.  Lunch would probably be around $12-$14 per person

mm45737 and par228 - Thanks for the suggestion. I looked at the site, and it seems that they require a 20 person minimum (we're looking at 14 ppl tops). It is affordable though, so I'm sure whoever is still looking for a place can add Marie's to their list. Thanks girls.

How about the bar at Taix on Sunset? You could just have drinks & apps, and bring in presents and cake. Just don't go when there's a Laker game on--the bar will be full!

You can also do El Toritto.

If you can do a brunch it will be cheaper.
