Check-in (Week of Aug 12th)

The boards have been quiet! While I don't want to be in the testing threads (to avoid disappointment) I miss the convos. HOW IS EVERYONE? 11DPO and waiting for AF. I refuse to test but don't believe I'm PG. I'm having massive right ovary twinges/pains since this morning. Making me feel nauseous. I felt great from 1-5DPO and "symptoms" started 6DPO, but not enough to line up with an early PG (dry cm, etc). Since I'm just waiting for my temps to drop I'm basically counting down days until brie & wine :-) Brie is a PG no-no and I LOVE it, and of course wine is too. I'm only drinking alcohol during AF while trying - I don't want to deprive myself, but want to be in good shape for fertile days and of course careful during the LP (TWW). I'm not liking this new PW :-( I can't figure out how to change font (so the best I can do is upper case letters), insert pics, etc. I also keep inserting spaces between paragraphs, then it becomes a big mush of one paragraph. Maybe it's my browser?

NO, not your browser. I am not a fan of this new layout.

Athena: I totally understand not wanting to test, I try to only test now after AF is due. Was sick of the constant dissappointment. However, I do slip once in awhile but it's usually too early anyways so I don't even expect anything. Gl to you, sometimes the times people just "on't feel pregnant" it the month it happens

I am currently 8-9 dpo, I think I ovulate at night so it always seems to be between 2 days. Having the normal nausea and cramping that I always have, the last few days I have been super tired and my nipples are extremely sore(sorry tmi). Not getting my hopes up since every month on clomid I seem to have new symptoms.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who dislikes this new format! Where is Nicole...? She's a hostess so maybe she has insight? @ MK ~ Ah, I was right and I'm getting pre-AF symptoms today. Tomorrow I expect to see a temp drop and AF showing. @ KWoodrn ~ that wasn't TMI....I often wonder what is TMI anymore. lol. My FX for you, but I understand your position of not wanting disappointment. I can tell AF will appear tomorrow so my gut feeling was correct. On to the next... :-) Why is this your last month on clomid? Will you be trying a new strategy?

Hey ladies-- I know it depends on your browser.  If you're using anything other than the latest version of Internet Explorer, it won't work. If you have downloaded the most current version, it should. And other browsers like Chrome & Firefox should work fine. I've flagged the issue to have them check it out. :)

Athena--You're so in tune with your bod. I couldn't tell you the difference between any twinge and where I am in my cycle it's a complete guessing game to me. I kind of wish you could come temp for me every morning and figure me all out!

AFM I am CD 5 and ready for TTC cycle 2. I think I really needed last month to get used to the idea. I'm in a much better place this time around.

FX and baby dust to everyone!!

@Athena: it is not shown to be beneficial to stay on clomid for more than six cycles. Basically if it doesn't work by then it isn't going to. Plus it can cause thinning of the uterine lining and ovarian cysts. After next cycle DH and I agreed that we would take a break for awhile then see an REafter the holidays.

Thanks for the insight! I know it isn't your fault, so just a general vent: I don't like the new browser requirements. I can control that personally, but not at work and they should know how many of their users are doing this from work ;-) @ Nicole ~ ha! I never thought I'd sound knowledgable like Murph or Claire, but temping for 6 months and reading TCOYF (in small doses, because it's a lot to take in) has taught me so much about women's bodies and specifically my own body. Good outlook! It was your practice try and I'm glad you're feeling more calm and ready for this! @ KWoodrn ~ a break sounds like just what you need :-) Relax and enjoy the season changing and the holidays!

I'm on my 3rd week of my 13Y different (3x a day) supplement routine!!! And I don't know how I'm gonna do this for 3 + more months!!! Everything is YUCKY!! LOL MY BFF had an at hone water birth that I got to be apart of yesterday morning. It was amazing but i got a little sad after seeing her fb posts and pics :( so u took ny self shopping and picked up a super sweet and soft blanket for our future little one:) I've allowed myself to buy a dew gender neutral things (and books!) For future children. It helps me stay hopeful that one day they'll get used... One way or another ( biological? Adoption ?)
