Tired of my RE's office!

A few weeks ago when I asked to do another IUI I was told that we would only be doing 50mg of clomid this time since I had too many follicles last time.  Today, I called on CD1 to make the appointment for CD3 US and BW my nurse tells me that my Dr. wants to add an injectible!  Luckily, I have some left over from my canceled cycle because I have to do mail order for certain things and I definitely wouldn't have received it in enough time.  I'm so frustrated...I don't understand why he decided to change it last minute.  Yesterday, I made a reservation for one night at the beach for a Christmas festival that's about 2 1/2 hours away (not knowing today AF would arrive) and now it just so happens that it will fall on CD12 which is when they usually have me come back in for monitoring.  I keep a journal with all the dates and they have me come in on CD11, CD12, CD13, CD14, and CD15...I'm never ready for the trigger until CD16 at least so if my follicle is only say 3mm on CD11 why would I need to come in the next day?!  I'm just in a BAD mood today and this didn't help...I was looking forward to that weekend but now if I need to go in we will just have to leave the beach at 4AM!! Nice!  Come January I've been going to this place for 1 year!  Can I just get my sticky BFP already! :(

And shouldn't they have figured out what protocol would work for me after the first month!  I mean, clomid thins my lining soooo bad (once it was 2mm) then I have to take estrace (which is a wonderful bright blue little pill that gets put you know where).  My follicles always grow on clomid so adding injectibles just seems like overkill...if I have another canceled cycle I won't be able to handle it.  Grrrr!

I Agree with Laurie. Don't cancel your trip!! They should accomodate you..after all, you're the client and your are $$$. It's not like it would compromise your IUI, right? I'm sure this trip will be so good for your DH & yourself and who knows...maybe it will help having this sticky bean!
