TTC for 9 months and finally got my BFP
So hubby and I technically started trying in November. I got off my BCP in mid November and not really knowing how my body worked, we immediatly started trying. I then realized that you need to dtd during the right time.
Cut to February, I started taking Clomid since I went to a fertility doctor and I was diagnosied with PCOS- a very rare form of it which it really isn't so bad. I STOPPED Clomid in July, that was the last month I took it. I told myself that starting in August we would go back to the natural way.
I did the fallopian tube dye test, my DH went and got his sperm analysis, which by the way came back REALLY bad. I was in the clear but he had to be worked on. So this is what we did....
First we both started taking vitamins, ladies, you could take prenatals before getting pregnant, I did for awhile but each time I took that pill and I wasn't pregnant, it was just a daily reminder and it was sad. So it's completely up to you. DH started drinking Pomme Juice, it's super pricey for such a small bottle but he drank a glass every morning. He also took Zinc pills, which is suppose to build up sperm volume and count. His analysis report sky rocketed in just 3 months.
This is what I think really did it though, the one thing that changed everything....I put away the ovulation kits, stopped taking my temp and just relaxed. The only thing I used was Preseed AND Instead Cups. The first maybe second month we tried both those tatics and I wasn't stressing about getting pregnant anymore, it happened.
Cut to August: Now here were my early signs. Aug 30th I took a test and it was negative, I was bummed out and like clock work, my period came 2 days later only it was REALLY short... 3 days, with the last day being really light. I didn't think much of it, just thought that it was odd, so we went ahead with our dtd schedule during the days I knew I was ovulating (just by paying attention the last 9 months)
Cut to September: My period like I said, only lasted 3 days, we dtd during the week of ovulation but this time around I felt weird. A few days later, the week of September 20th I started breaking out all around my chin which has NEVER happend. I had excessive heartburn and for some strange reason, I didn't want ANY meat. I was disgusted by the smell and site of it. I went out September 25th, had a cranberry vodka and didn't feel right afterwards. Went home that night, peed on a stick and BOOM positive.
The nurses say I'm 4 weeks, I don't believe that, but we shall see who is right in time.
