Anyone try any new dish over the long weekend?

I know a lot of people go to cook-outs on holiday weekends-I didn't but already read about Mountain's oh-so-good fruit pizza that I can't wait to try!

Any others? If you made a new dish or if you tried a new dish from someone else that you can't stop thinking about it-please share = )

My co-worker keeps talking about the BBQ she went to where they had steak skewers that were marinated in A1 sauce. YUM! I LOVE A1 sauce

I did a slow cooker version of Chicken Wings - Very very yummy, I got lots of compliments:

Chicken Wings in BBQ Sauce

3 lbs chicken wings
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 c BBQ Sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's)
1/4 cup honey
2 teaspoons mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce

Rinse chicken & pat dry. Cut off and discard wing tips.  Cut each wing at joint to make two sections.  Place wing parts on broiler pan.  Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat 20 minutes, 10 min a side or until chicken is brown.  Transfer chicken to slow cooker.  For sauce, combine BBQ sauce, honey, mustard, Worcestershire Sauce in a small bowl.  Pour of chicken wings.  Cover and cook on Low 4-5 hours, or on high for 2-2.5 hours.

Other Tips: The BBQ sauce concoction was a bit sweet before I poured it over the chicken, so I ended up adding just a bit of spicy brown mustard and cajun seasoning (to taste) And I ended up doing 3.5 lbs of wings, and there was still enough sauce to cover.
