Cooking for Two
i found this cookbook in the magazine section of barnes & noble, and after flipping through some of the pages, just had to try it out. the concept is that most recipes are written to serve 4, so the writers experimented and created recipes that will give you just the right measurements and instructions to make a meal for two without all the leftovers. (perfect for me and the hubs because i tend to cook meals meant to serve 8...) what's really nice is that they give a very clear description of their experimentation process, what worked and what didn't work, so you learn the technique and why it works.
there are about 63 recipes, and they all look so yummy. not bad for 8 bucks! i plan to try out a few this week, so i'll let you all know how it goes!
