favorite cookbooks?

Just wondering if anyone has any good cookbook resources? I have a bunch in my kitchen that I can't even think of right now, plus I got recipes at my bridal shower to start my own recipe collection. Anyone have any books they can recommend?

I'm usually a internet type gal. I'll look something up online and print it out. If I try it and like it, I keep it in a folder. So I guess I have a custom cookbook of my internet finds

I like 'taste of home' magazines/cookbooks... they're pretty basic but they've got some amazing recipes in there!!! DH is a meat & potatoes kind of guy, a lot of the recipes in these magazines/cookbooks work well with his preferences... plus I've gotten some insanely delicious cheesecake recipes from them!

And of course, the wonderful Martha Stewart has great cookbooks (don't even remember how many I own!!)... I have yet to try her stuff though, it's a bit intimidating! haha... but the pictures are great :)

I am usually an online recipe kind of gal, since I usually want to try recipes that are guaranteed to be good. =P

So I often browse allrecipes.com.

But I just got Taste of Home "Super" Cookbook or whatever. It has all kinds of stuff, different cuts of meat, different kinds of apple, how to pick and store this fruit, etc. It's awesome.

i'm really loving "Cooking for Two" which is published by America's Test Kitchens. i've reviewed a few of the recipes here:

I like ones with pictures!  I actually love all the Williams Sonoma cookbooks, Ive never had a receipe come out poorly.  and they have pictuers!  im not a follow-the-receipe-to-the-t type of person, so its good to see what its supposed to look like when im done!

I am the same way I really like to search for specific things online.  I have a ton of cookbooks but I am pretty picky so it is hard to find a cookbook where I like a lot of the recipes.  So I have a 12x12 scrapbook that has divider tabs and photo holder sheets in it each page holds 6 4x6 pics.  So when I find a recipe that I really like I write it on a recipe card and put it in my book.  It is displayed on a plate holder in the kitchen.  One of my fav things!! =)

Clueless in the Kitchen. My mom bought it for me when I first moved out and it starts at the verrry basics. Tells you how long things keep for in the fridge or freezer, cooking temps for meats, etc.

Other than that, I usually just go online. I really like kraft.ca

My favorite cookbook is my guestbook :) We collected fave recipes from family and friends invited to the wedding, and then my mom even put in their wedding pics on their recipes...

My favorite cookbook is photo 903315-1My favorite cookbook is photo 903315-2

She made it through tastebook.com. It's exactly like a real cookbook, but personalized! Ours is called "Taste of Wedding: Clayton & Kelsey"
