Throw away appliance boxes?

Is there any reason why I should keep the orignal boxes of kitchen appliances if I've had and used them for over a year?  This year is Project Declutter for my tiny condo and I have a bunch of boxes from all of our wedding registry items that for whatever reason I am hesitant to throw away.  Please tell me if it's ok to do so...

we keep a few of our lesser-used items in the box, like a Cuisinart fondue set...we only use that maybe once or twice a week....but like toaster, blender, etc...we tossed that a long time ago....

DH keeps all the boxes of almost all the appliances and gadgets, from cookware down to iPods.  I used to think it's weird, but after we moved a few times together, I started seeing the beauty of it.  It makes packing and unpacking so much easier with original boxes!

But if you guys don't plant to move, I really don't see the point of collecting original boxes.

We toss as soon as the warranty is over.  If we store the item in the box that is different, but if its just a box its gone.  99% of our appliances are stored in cupboards/pantry, etc.

I throw all that crap out immediately.  I just keep the manuals and receipts (etc.).  DH is big on keeping that stuff and I can't stand it.  I call him my "hoarder".

thanks ladies.  I guess I'll chuck them since we have no plans of moving.  DH also has hoarding tendencies and sometimes it rubs off onto me!

I keep boxes if I think they'll make moving with something easier (ie my Kitchenaid mixer, small tv, sewing machine...) Particularly if it has foam inserts that will keep the item super safe and secure during moving!

As long as DH keeps his current job, having ENOUGH boxes to move is never going to be an issue... we just look like chocaholics. (He works for a vending company so he has access to an endless supply of M&M, Snickers, Kit-Kat, Butterfinger boxes....)
